PRIVACY NOTICE

In view of the forthcoming GDPR it seems I am obliged to issue a Privacy Notice because I am now registered as a data controller with the Information Commissioner.

The only personal data I will hold are the names, addresses, email addresses and telephone numbers of my students and other glass-related contacts and this is to allow me to communicate with you in respect of classes, courses, workshops etc.

I will rely on either ‘contract’ or ‘legitimate interest’ as my legal basis for holding your data, depending on whether or not you are currently a student in one of my classes or are booked onto one of my workshops or Summer Schools.

I will keep your information for as long as you remain interested in keeping in touch and of course you have the right to check or correct the information I hold as well as the right to opt out of my occasional email updates if you prefer not to hear from me anymore.

As I said at the start of this notice, the law is changing and I have to tell you about the personal data I hold and what I may do with it but this is purely for your information and you do not need to do anything right now!
